If you want to learn how to use Photoshop and Illustrator, or how to create graphics for your blog and social media, the best way to find useful tutorials is by searching on YouTube. As you know, YouTube is the largest video hub in the world and you can find amazing tutorials made by professional designers.
This year, I spent a lot of time watching design videos and I want to show you five of my favorite YouTube channels for designers:
Will Paterson is a graphic designer that specializes in logo design and brand identity. If you are interested in hand-lettering and logo design, you can find many amazing tutorials on his channel. He also has many tips for designers and people that want to hire graphic designers.
If you have a Creative Market shop or love browsing the website, then you might know Matt. But did you know that he also has an amazing YouTube channel? Matt has many Photoshop and Illustrator tutorials for beginners and there are also more complex tutorials.Want to boost your design skills? Chris Spooner from Spoon Graphics has many Photoshop and Illustrator tutorials that will show you how to make patterns and textures, create text effects and illustrations, and you can also learn photo manipulation techniques.
Teela Cunningham from Every Tuesday shares a new tutorial every week. She has many tutorials that focus on hand-lettering and you can also learn how to use watercolors to create beautiful textures. Many of her tutorials are perfect for beginners, but there are also tutorials for advanced users.
Helen is a photographer and designer that shares many Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom tutorials that are perfect for beginners. You can watch many pattern design tutorials and also learn how to make many cool effects using Photoshop.
I published my first tutorial almost 5 years ago and now I want to bring some of the old posts back to life as video tutorials. I will also create videos for all my upcoming Photoshop and Illustrator tutorials.
I’m still new at this and I have a lot to learn, not to mention that I’m still very nervous when I record new videos. But if you are looking for pattern design tutorials or want to learn how to make graphics for your blog and social media, you will find many easy to follow tutorials on my new channel.
